Who we are

The data controller is WeCodeMobile, ul. Potęgowska 20/40, 80-174 Gdańsk, Poland. You can reach us at hello@wecodemobile.com.

No account

You don't sign up or log in. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the app.

What stays on your phone

Your settings are stored only on your device: breathing level, haptics, sound, the dyslexic-friendly font, reminder time and days, and whether you've seen the introduction. Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used, for example whether a breathing session was started or finished, whether the widget was seen, and which screens were opened. It uses a random app instance identifier, not your name or contact details. We don't use the advertising ID and the app shows no ads.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report with technical details such as the stack trace, device model, operating system version and a Crashlytics installation ID. We use it only to find and fix bugs.

Purchases (RevenueCat)

If you choose the supporter subscription, Apple or Google handle the payment. We never see your card details. RevenueCat, our subscription service, receives the store receipt, your subscription status and a random app user ID, so the app knows your subscription is active and can restore it on a new device.

This website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. There's no cookie banner because we don't set tracking cookies.

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email (delivered through Resend) and use them only to reply to you.

Why we process data (legal basis)

Processing your subscription is necessary to provide what you bought (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Analytics, crash reports and website statistics rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app reliable and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f)). Replying to your messages also relies on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Reminder notifications rely on the permission you give in your phone's system prompt.

Who processes data for us

Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics), RevenueCat, Inc. (subscriptions), Apple Inc. and Google (app stores and payments), Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and analytics) and Resend (contact form email). Some of them process data in the United States, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Subscription records are kept as long as needed to provide the subscription and meet legal and tax obligations. Contact messages are deleted when they're no longer needed to help you, and at the latest after 2 years.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Write to hello@wecodemobile.com. Because we don't know who you are, we may need an identifier from the app to find your records. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in Poland that's the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

Daisy is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app.
